For Indian student Abhinav Banerjee, studying at Masaryk University was not his first choice. But that was before love entered the picture. Gradually, Brno became his second home and a place where he found not only himself but also space for his ambitions. At the FSS, he has created a unique project that simulates a United Nations meeting.
A ceremony was held at the Augustinian Abbey on Mendel Square, during which newly habilitated academics from Masaryk University received their appointment decrees. A total of 14 experts from eight MU faculties successfully completed the habilitation (appointment) process.

This year´s Open Day offered an expanded programme across all ten faculties of Masaryk University, as well as two workshops. A total of 3,500 prospective students registered.

This year’s Fragile Freedom, commemorating the events of 17 November at Masaryk University, was marked by powerful personal stories and exceptional achievements. The university presented medals to notable figures and opened a public discussion on the question of European values in the era of Russian aggression.
