Sustainably focused research, education, and awareness-raising within academia and society as a whole are critical factors in integrating relevant principles into all societal processes on the road to a sustainable future.

17 SDGs

17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent the "planetary" development programme for the period 2015–2030. All UN Member States, representatives of civil society, entrepreneurs, academia and citizens participated in the formulation of the SDGs.

The agenda was officially endorsed by the UN Summit on September 25, 2015 in New York City in Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes the SDGs.

In accordance with its mission, Masaryk University contributes to their fulfilment.
