MEASURES:

• EQUALITY - remove potential barriers within the education process leading to open access for all groups, including explicitly anchoring non-discriminatory access in relevant regulations.
• MOTIVATION - to support activities leading to increased accessibility and attractiveness of fields of study traditionally of lower interest to groups with specific needs.
• SUPPORT - to further develop and support institutions within MU that are dedicated to supporting disadvantaged applicants and students and to promote the principles of universal design.

OUTPUTS:

• Equal opportunities for applicants and students are part of the internal culture of Masaryk University.
• MU's education regulations prevent discrimination.
• MU has functioning institutions that support disadvantaged applicants and students.
• Investigations are carried out to identify barriers for students, including the causes of academic failure.

INDICATORS:

1.2.A Proportion of people with specific needs among applicants, admitted students and graduates;

1.2.B Number of students benefiting from support for disadvantaged learners;

1.2.C Number of measures removing barriers for students, including support for academic success (not counting the Doctoral Studies).
