How to handle e-waste at MUNI
In order not to waste your time, we have summarized everything about the university waste sorting.
Prevention is the key
- When you buy a new fluorescent lamp, the store will accept the old one for recycling.
- Place e-waste in containers marked with ASEKOL, EKOLAMP, CART4FUTURE stickers. The collection point for RMUs is located on the ground floor of the building.

- small electronic devices, chargers, phones (ASEKOL)
- bulbs, light sources (ECOLAMP)
- bateries
- laser toners and ink cartridges, compatible toners from www.dumtoneru.cz (CART4FUTURE)
No
- hazardous waste (fluorescent lamps), fluorescent lamps
- appliances exceeding the size of the placed container
- equipment containing mercury
- compatible toners from gigaprint, tisknulevně, etc.
Bins for electrical waste can be found in the RMU buildings (in the basement in front of office 146) and Komenského nám. 2, they are clearly marked ECOLAMP and ASEKO.
