Faculty of Economics and Administration
The AIR Academy is a two-day interactive programme for primary and secondary school pupils to motivate them to actively protect the air. The key is prevention and understanding the importance of clean air. The AkademieAIR.muni.cz website will offer materials for teachers, checklists for principals and participatory tools for students. Thanks to the KoMUNIt grant, we want to improve education and engage the younger generation in environmental protection.

1st M(U)INI eSports Conference (title might be modified)
Faculty of Sport Studies

The 1st M(U)INI eSports Conference (MeSC) is the first interdisciplinary student conference at Masaryk University connecting students from different faculties interested in eSports. The conference allows students to present their academic goals, discuss with experts and make contacts with the professional scene. The results of the conference will be presented at the Computer Games Championship, part of the LIFE fair at the Brno Exhibition Centre, where students will present their projects to the wider eSports community.

Organization of regular humanitarian mapping at MUNI, high schools and companies to expand the Brno community of the international Missing Maps project creating maps of crisis areas for the work of humanitarian organizations

The aim is to involve secondary school students and other volunteers in mapping crisis-affected areas within the Missing Maps project. By organising mapathons in secondary schools, students will learn to map and understand the importance of geographical data in humanitarian aid. The project promotes humanitarian mapping and connects education to real global challenges. It also aims to expand the Brno community of volunteers involved in the Missing Maps initiative through regular mapathons.

The project focuses on creating an interactive game that would educate primary and secondary school children in primary care in a fun and educational way. Through the educational game we want to highlight the importance of primary prevention, healthy lifestyle and early diagnosis. We drew inspiration from health education organizations and believe that a fun form of education contributes to better understanding and active health care.

SustainMap is a project that aims to map sustainable initiatives and places at Masaryk University and around Brno. It will be a website with an interactive map where users will be able to filter what they are looking for - recycling bins, sustainable eating or events and nice places. The project is designed to make it easier for MUNI students and staff to make sustainable decisions. Thanks to the interactive map, they won't have to search for this information in a complicated way, and users will be able to contribute to it.

"Sustainable belt bags or a second life for banners" give a new meaning to the used promotional banners of Masaryk University. Instead of being thrown away, the banners will get a second chance as original and practical kidneys thanks to creative upcycling. The project connects the university community with a sustainable approach to fashion, actively reducing waste and inspiring environmental responsibility.

The project responds to the current problem of antibiotic resistance and highlights the key role of education in this area. Through an informative website, a podcast interview with an expert and interactive workshops and lectures, it provides comprehensive education on the correct use of antibiotics. The vision of the project is to create an informed and responsible society that is able to tackle the threat of resistance and protect the health of current and future generations, all in line with environmental goals.

Inclusive Culture Festival 2025

The Festival of Inclusive Culture is a student initiative, supported by KSIP and PedF members. FIK is an informal education event that connects learners with practice in a cultural environment while creating an open space for meeting, sharing and self-experience. It is now in its third year and is organised by KSIP students with the aim of showing that culture can be accessible to all and that inclusion is not just a theoretical concept, but a natural part of creation and interpersonal relationships.
